Robust Near Real Time Medical Device Validation
Using the camera of the TRaCE Mobile Device, the UDI data is captured, decoded, and checked against the latest recall and adverse event data sets. Expiration dates are checked, and if items are nearing expiration, the administrator receives a notification.
Alerts for Inventory and Patient Implanted Devices
The system not only traces recalls, ADEs, and expirations for imaged medical device items in inventory, but it also checks patient encounter records for matches. When a match is made to either an existing inventory item or an item that was implanted in a patient, the administrator receives notifications from TRaCE.
